Mario (Mallo) González Rodríguez** (Mayabeque, 1987) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization as a Visual Arts Instructor from Havana (2010), and completed his studies at the School of Art Instructors in San Antonio de los Baños (2005). Among his solo exhibitions are *Surcos* at Galería 23 y 12, Vedado, Havana (2023); *Drappus* at the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts and Design “Luz y Oficios,” Havana (2021); and *Divergences* at Casa de las Américas José Martí, Caracas, Venezuela. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and national and international events. Highlights include *The Construction of Silence* (2023) at the Visual Arts Development Center, presenting a survey of Cuban abstraction from the avant-garde to the present; the Cuban art auction in Mexico City; *Arroz con Mango Más Habanero* at Covarrubias Gallery, collateral to the contemporary art fair ZONAMACO, Mexico City (2023); and the Humanitarian Auction of Contemporary Cuban Art (2022), also in Mexico City. Other notable participations include *Collage Expoventa* at Hotel Palco, Havana; *Arroz con Mango* at the Hispano-American Cultural Center, Havana; *Dissonances* at the Visual Arts Development Center during the 14th Havana Biennial; *There Are More Paths After the Abyss* at Antonia Eiriz Gallery, Havana; and *Prismas: The Color of the Crisis* at ArteMorfosis, Zurich, Switzerland. In 2020, he participated in the Small Format Salon (ArtUpstairs, Cuba–Spain), and in 2019 he received an award at the 1st Díaz Peláez Abstract Art Salon, held at the Experimental Center of the Arts (23 y C, Havana). He has been a member of the *Puente Sur* project, participating in performance and intervention events such as *Romerías de Mayo*, as well as the 10th and 11th Havana Biennials, and the *Restaurarte La Escalera* project of the Office of the Historian of Havana. His work is held in private collections in the United States, Mexico, Chile, and Spain.
